Description of our service
We provide you with a customizable online contact form. Four types of contact forms
are available: basic, advanced, custom and tailor-made.
Common features
The following features are available for all the web contact form types.
Languages
If multiple languages have been selected in the order process, the form comes with
small country flags on top of the page. Note that there is no automatic country
detection operated by our web forms. This ensures that your customers see exactly
the language you have selected by default, even though they might use another default
browser language.
Client side validation
Each form field has its own type and accepts only a subset of characters. For example,
email addresses can only be 50 characters long; any other character is cut off.
The following security checks are performed:
- Maximum characters allowed - all fields
- Regular expression match - email addresses
- Required field validation - all mandatory fields
- Robot detection - all forms are protected against multiple and repeated submissions
No more email addresses
No email addresses are provided at any moment of the procedure, meaning that your
prospect does not know your email address. Moreover, your email address does not
appear on your contact form. All this ensures you will never get picked up by a
web sniffer or a spammer.
Emails are sent using our own mail servers.
Options
All contact form types accept three optional features:
Confirmation email
This option renders a tick box on the web contact form. Ticking this checkbox enables
your visitors to receive a copy of the email which is sent to you. This ensures
your prospects that no other information is collected or passed over.
File upload
You may require your visitors to send you a file. This option allows them to upload
a file to our servers, which will in turn be attached to your email notification.
Files are not stored on our servers. The bytes of the files are scanned for known
viruses and malware, and directly attached as binary information. The file upload
limit size is fixed to 2 Mbytes.
Captcha test
Captcha stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and
Humans Apart". Such a test consists of a drawing representing letters and/or numbers,
and a textbox where the visitor is supposed to type in what she sees. The drawing
is usually distorted so that humans can read it, but computer programs have difficulties
to interpret it.
This option makes sure that you will not get unsolicited or automated enquiries.
Basic form
This is the most basic form, and is also the most used by our customers. It allows
basic information to be input by your prospects.

Available fields are Name, Email and Message; all fields are mandatory.
Advanced form
The advanced form renders all available fields: company name, name *, forename,
email address *, web site, physical address, phone, fax, subject and message *.
In this list of fields, those marked with a * are mandatory.
Custom form
The custom form is the advanced form, with the option for you to choose which fields
you want to show to your visitors. You can also select which field is mandatory.
